Annie Blazejack

Annie Blazejack grew up in Miami, Florida, went to college at Brown University, and got her MFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Art, Boston / Tufts University. Annie’s work this year has been primarily collaborative: she is in a long-distance painting relationship with her best friend, Geddes Levenson. You can see their entwined works at annieandgeddes.com. Some recurring themes in Annie’s paintings and performances include: ‘things too big to understand,’ like the vastness of the ocean or the amount of time it takes for a rock to sediment; ‘things we did when we were kids,’ like building sheet tents and digging holes in the sand at the beach; and ‘both of these things at once,’ like talking about deep space at a sleepover party.
