Chris Pullman

My paintings consist mostly of landscapes in watercolor and oil from Cape Ann, where I share a summer cottage with my wife Esther, a photographer (estherpullman.com), and from Maine, where I have traveled most summers for a week of painting on Great Spruce Head Island. I also have a growing series of paintings of peculiar vegetables and extremely large crab claws. My painting has been mostly for my own enjoyment, but I have had several recent gallery and museum shows, including the Gladstone Gallery in Manchester-by-the-Sea (2012, 2014, 2016), Jane Deering Gallery, Gloucester (2016), Maud Morgan (2012, 2013), and the Danforth Museum Members’ Show (2009, 2010, 2013, 2014, 2016).
