Francois Berelowich

Francois earned an MFA in Paris, majoring in printmaking and graphic design. He then studied printmaking and paper making in Kyoto, on a Japanese government scholarship. After returning to Paris, he attended a graduate course in film and animation. Francois works in mixed media and printmaking, combining techniques in monotype, woodcut, and etching. More recently, he has incorporated video into his work, and is currently working on a number of video installations. Francois has shown his work in the Boston area including at the Towne Art Gallery.

In addition, for more than 20 years, Francois has worked in the US and France in broadcast, film, and large video installations for museums and cultural institutions.
