Rebecca Doughty

Rebecca Doughty’s work is populated by comic and tragic animal characters. Her drawings and paintings range from miniature narratives where characters navigate a world of human predicaments, to large scale figures tumbling alone through space. Rebecca’s work has been exhibited at many museums and galleries, including Carroll and Sons Gallery, Trustman Gallery, DeCordova Museum, The Drawing Center in NYC, and The Schoolhouse Gallery in Provincetown, and she has received awards and fellowships from the Massachusetts Cultural Council, Ucross Foundation, and The Ballinglen Arts Foundation.
